Role Introduction
Reports to: Simulator Engineering Team Leader
To carry out maintenance and operations work on training equipment.

Reports to: Simulator Engineering Team Leader
To carry out maintenance and operations work on training equipment.
Responsibilities
- To carry out routine maintenance and operations tasks on training equipment operated by CX Group and third-party customers
- To carry out preventive maintenance procedures on training equipment
- To answer calls from simulator users and take action to resolve problems encountered
- To perform preflight and routine checks
- To carry out conversion and other session changeover and preparation tasks
- To work on the clearance of Simulator Tech Log entries
- Prepare for advancement to Simulator Engineer after 3 years upon satisfactory performance reviews, peer appraisal
- To work on Job Cards as assigned
- To provide assistance during emergency troubleshooting and fault rectification
- To carry out workshop repairs as required
- To install updated navigation databases on FMS installed in various training equipment
- To perform visual projector change, alignment and other visual maintenance tasks as assigned
- To perform scheduled QTG test runs as required
- To perform backups as required
- To take care of workshop tools and equipment
- To attend training conducted internally to learn methods and practices associated with above duties

Requirements
- Knowledge
Higher Diploma or University Degree (in a technical field) or relevant experience
Good command of written and spoken English, able to communicate internally and externally at different organizational levels
- Skills
Self-motivated with strength in all Cathay core competencies
