Back-end Developer (Based in Vietnam)

Job Brief

• We are looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team. You will be responsible for the server side of our Product.
• If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer, you’ll work closely with our developers and managers to ensure system consistency and improve backend performance.
• Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable applications to meet our company’s needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable applications using the latest backend technology
• Architect efficient and reusable components that drive complex web applications
• Have an active role in all features and architecture decisions
• Mentor and train other engineers on backend framework technologies
• Help instill the discipline of effectively monitoring and creating work items
• Consistently improve the quality and efficiency of the team
• Own the deliverables not only on the function and features but also on the security
• Work closely with the product owners and business users to propose effective and sustainable solutions
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
• Follow emerging technologie

Requirements

• Above 6 years work experience as a Back-end developer
• Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, Java , Node or PHP. Experience with the Django framework will be a plus
• Must have a good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns
• Must have a clear understanding of TDD and BDD
• Experience on CI/CD will be a plus
• Full stack work experience will be a plus
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Experience of working with Git and Git Flow
• Experience of working on an Agile software development team
