Senior Manager, STP Platform (Technology Validation)

In sight of the current gap between technology adopters and technology developers, HKSTP will launch a new STP Platform to enhance the quality and speed of technology development, thereon build trustworthiness amongst industries and drive technology adoption.
The platform will be a combination of IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service), VaaS (Validation-as-a-Service) and DaaS (Data-as-a-Service) which would assist companies to look for appropriate solutions for their operation, test out their own solutions through the use of validation service, utilize the platform’s plentiful datasets, and match up with suitable third-party services.
Responsibilities:
- Define and articulate compelling value propositions around Technology Validation Service within defined domains, i.e. Public Sector and Financial Sector.
- Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the generation and maintenance of a robust project pipeline.
- Manage numerous accounts concurrently, be creative to drive technology adoption through Technology Validation Service.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal teams, vendors, executive sponsors and other stakeholders for the execution of projects.
- Full project life cycle ownership to develop and manage all aspects of project management from planning, internal team collaboration, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks and other issues.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor the progress, control the quality and minimize the risk.
- Provide status reporting regarding project status, deliverable, dependencies, risks and other issues.
- Maintain a high-level of knowledge base in technology development and business knowhow.
Requirements:
- University graduate or above in technology or business related discipline.
- 10+ years technology related business development experience, with 5+ years of experience in serving customers from public / financial sector. Candidate with less experience will be considered for lower position.
- Proven track record of sales lead generation, covering public sectors and enterprises.
- Proven working experience in project management that successfully leads projects with on-time and within budget deliverables.
- Well equipped with wide technology knowledge such as AI, Robotics, data analytic, IoT, sensing etc.
- Able to work independently, manage multi-task and work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, organized and being a good team player.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English & Chinese.
