Senior Manager, Event Marketing & Community Engagement

We are looking for a seasoned senior leader who is passionate to join the largest Innovation and Technology eco-system in Hong Kong. The successful incumbent shall possess strong leadership to lead and drive the team to ideate, plan and implement high level flagship events, conferences, exhibitions, community engagement programme and new business initiatives to support the continuous growth of the Corporation and to elevate the vibrancy and diversity of the Science Park community. He / she has to be a strategic thinker and planner, a great problem solver, and is goal getting, result driven, innovative, co-creative, energetic, collaborative, enthusiastic; and bold to tackle and overcome challenges to deliver remarkable results.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ideating, content curating, brand positioning, budgeting, planning, promoting and managing high-quality and influential B2B & B2C events to achieve the Corporate objectives
- Lead and drive the team to meet and even exceed targeted goals, accomplish high quality and remarkable outcomes and manage to propose and make strategical, timely and decisive directions and changes in the dynamic environment
- Master impactful marketing and promotional assets; research, analyse, interpret and present latest marketing trend and data in a world perspective
- Strategically plan and deliver engagement initiatives to build a vibrant and actively engaging community among the partner companies in the Science Park eco-system
- Content curate and manage digital platforms including websites and social media for specified events and programmes
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or other related disciplines
- 10 years relevant experience in event marketing and management, preferably gained in sizable / MNC corporations with at least 3 years of solid team leadership
- Proven track record in ideating, content curating and managing high level, large-scale & impactful events, and mastering professional, trendy and effective marketing promotional assets
- Strong business sense, thorough understanding of the latest world marketing trend and rich experience in digital and content marketing
- Strong leadership demonstration of tackling challenges, accomplishing remarkable results and growing the team
- Innovative, idea-driven, goal-getting, dynamic, self-motivated, detailed-oriented and is able to work under tight schedule
- Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
- Strong industry network with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
