This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities
-Lead and supervise the Buildings & Architecture Section of Technical Services Infrastructure Department (TSI) in supporting the business initiatives and executing key development projects of user departments or in corporate goals
-Represent TSI on the planning and execution of Capex works with particular input in planning for buildings works and architectural design to meet user departments' requirements
-Upkeep the Authority's high standards on building and architectural works and ensure compliance to all relevant statutory regulations
-Develop strategic planning on maintenance and refurbishment/replacement of building assets of the Authority including building fabrics, hydraulic services and signage
-Ensure sufficient and cost-effective maintenance services to be provided by the contractors in order to safeguard smooth operations and business continuity of the Airport
-Supervise consultants and lead professional/technical staff in the execution/development of comprehensive feasibility studies with design proposals, comparison of alternative options and preliminary cost for the best interest of the Authority
-Set standards/guidelines for Tenant's Fit-out Works, review and approve all fitting-out proposals by tenants to ensure compliance with the Authority's standards
-Perform design review and provide design practice/technical supports on new building projects being managed by CWM and TRD from maintenance perspective
-Take over new building assets from CWC and TRD for completed projects and update the Asset Register from time to time with new maintenance plan and strategy
Requirements
-Degree in Building, Architectural, Planning, Engineering, Surveying or related disciplines with at least 12 years' relevant working experience, of minimum 10 years in management role and professional qualification of relevant disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies
-Experience in buildings and/or architectural works planning, design and/or maintenance with advanced knowledge in design and construction of airport facilities is preferred
-Excellent leadership, organization, problem solving and interpersonal skills
-Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
-Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
