Highlight
This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities
-Ensuring effective and efficient project management of E&M engineering works, including overall project planning and monitoring of safety, quality, construction as well as financial aspects of the relevant works;
-Assisting to lead design consultants and construction contractors to ensure that programme and budget requirement are met;
-Ensuring project requirements are incorporated into detailed design cost, works contract drawings and specifications effectively;
-Proactively identifying design and construction interface problems, investigating alternatives with designers and contractors and liaising with project stakeholders to provide effective solutions; and
-Conducting site administration works, including supervising contractors’ works, assisting in preparation of project estimates and budget control.
Requirements
-Degree holder in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines;
-At least 8 years' relevant working experience;
Professional qualification of relevant disciplines gained from recognized professional bodies is required;
-Solid experience in project management of related works for major building and infrastructure projects and management of Building Services / Electrical & Mechanical Engineering design and construction works;
-Experience in site supervision of airport works or large scale infrastructure project is an advantage;
-Proactive mindset with strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills;
-Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage;
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software tools;
-Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
