The jobholder will support the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Lead on managing and executing various projects aimed at building a more diverse workforce and cultivating a workplace where diversity of thought, mindset, skillset, experience and identity are fully valued and can therefore contribute to the success of our business that our people feel proud of. The jobholder will also help to enhance our overall employee experience, from hire to retire, to make it more equitable and inclusive
Responsibilities
-Collect, align and analyse data and articulate insights to support with the execution of the Cathay D&I strategy
-Develop data-driven business cases to seek buy-in from various internal stakeholders to pursue D&I change projects
-Support the D&I Lead in managing D&I change projects linked to enhancing the Cathay employee experience from hire to retire (e.g., reviewing hiring practices, assessing facility suitability for diverse employees, identifying D&I training needs etc.)
-Partner with key stakeholders on all stages of project management (budgeting/scoping, business requirements, impact analysis, risk assessment, solution design and development, status reporting) to ensure successful implementation
-Update existing and introduce new D&I-related policies to help achieve D&I strategy as well as review other HR policies to make them more equitable and inclusive
-Respond to internal and external data requests to update on D&I progress e.g. management team meetings, D&I Steering Committee meetings, external awards and indices etc.
-Support with D&I data governance ensuring consistent data definitions and scoping across all reporting requests
-Conduct external research to stay up-to-date with the latest D&I trends, market best practices and regulations globally and in Hong Kong
-Support the internal D&I community (including our Employee Resource Groups and regional champions) on communications and events strategies to maximise engagement for their activities
-Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to stay on the pulse of D&I sentiment and identify opportunities for improvement
-Liaise with the Swire Group and other Swire companies as appropriate to leverage cross-company learnings and group best practice
-Provide administrative support to the D&I Office as required including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting minutes, maintaining meeting records and other D&I documentation, and administering D&I training and other events
Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
-5+ years’ work experience, with preferably 2 years of data analytics experience
-Passionate about D&I with a proven track record of driving impactful change
-Able to work independently and lead small-scale projects
-Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
-Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-Strong stakeholder management, influencing & communication skills
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Good command of both spoken and written English
