Highlight
This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities
-To provide support to supervise the holistic landscape enhancement and tree planting projects of the airport
-To assist in formulation and compilation of landscape design proposal
-To take part in compilation of procurement specifications and documents for landscape enhancement projects
-To carry out contract administration and management tasks and verify submissions from the landscape enhancement contractors
-To monitor the performance of the landscape enhancement contractors through regular onsite inspections and audits
-To assist in coordinating the works programme and interfaces with the technical departments and internal and external parties
-Required to perform outdoor duties
Requirements
-Degree holder Landscape, Horticulture, Geography, Environmental Science, Biology, Business Administration, Economics or other related disciplines with at least 1 year's relevant work experience, preferably in landscape enhancement. Fresh graduate are also welcomed
-Associate degree or higher diploma with minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience or secondary education level with at least 4 years’ working experience will also be considered.
-Certified Arborist (ISA), Technician Member (AAUK), Accredited Arborist (HKILA) or equivalent is an advantage. Professional certificate or advanced/higher diploma in tree management and/or landscape management is an advantage
-Good organization and execution skills. Observant, careful and customer-focused with good attention-to-detail
-Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills. Team player and able to work with different people
-Quick learner. Diligent and able to work under pressure
-Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Command of Putonghua is preferred
-Strong PC skills in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Possession of HK driving license class 1 or 2
