Banking & Payment Partnerships Head

Highlight
This role is responsible for driving mileage sales and other revenues from banking and payment partners (including and not limited to banks, card issuers and payment solution providers) for the CX Group.

The person will need to work with the Global Head of Banking and Payment Partnerships to derive growth strategies, negotiates deals, lead initiatives to improve customer experience with the Group’s banking partners, and oversees business development with banking partners in Hong Kong and rest of the world. He / She supervises a team of managers to execute business plans and projects to achieve the CX Group’s strategic goals in revenue generation and expansion into a travel and lifestyle brand.
Responsibilities
Strategies, Planning and Projects
- Work with the Global Head of Banking and Payment Partnerships Head to develop and execute strategies and business plans to generate revenues from banking partners, in both Hong Kong and overseas.
- Initiate projects and activities that improve the customer experience with our banking partners. Manage stakeholders across levels and including C-suite executives to facilitate project implementation.
- Manage the annual marketing revenues, operation costs and manpower budgets.

Business Development
- Achieve aggressive growth targets on sales and revenue contributions. Manage the balance of yield and volume.
- Lead the formation, negotiation and closure of multi-year contracts with financial institutions globally, or in the case of the cobrand credit card contract in our home market.
- Develop productive network with leaders of the partners and in the industry to capture business opportunities.
- Oversee the operational and promotional resources to deliver the required ROIs.
- Collaborate with marketing solutions and analytics teams to maximize the impact of investments and promotion campaigns.
- Facilitate cooperation with other operating companies and departments within the Group for synergies and insights.

People Leadership
- Lead, guide and drive a team of managers and sales professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, agile, data-driven, and stakeholder-centric culture among the Banking and Payment Partnerships Team.
- Supervise the creation and execution of individual development plans and organizational succession plans.
- Coach, develop and train the Business Development Managers. Ensure the Managers to take an active approach in growing their teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a well-respected university.
- At least 8 years of experience in financial services, including retail banking, credit
card products or electronic payment. Experience in loyalty marketing or aviation is a plus. 3 years or more in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in people leadership and change management, including
overseas experience.
- Excellent business acumen, project management, organization navigation,
negotiations and communications skills.
- Experience in analytics and data-driven sales and marketing roles.
- Strong at stakeholder management and engagement with C-suite executives.
