Operation Officer, Baggage - (220760)
Responsibilities
- Real time operation including monitoring and fault handling of BHS systems including MIGS, SAC, BMS, RMU, RBAS, SCADA, BBIT, etc in order to maintain a smooth baggage flow
- Monitor and manage AET operations
- Liaise with baggage service and maintenance contractors, RHOs and AVESCO on real time baggage handling arrangements
- Implement contingency measure to contain and mitigate any operation impact due to any failure in the BHS
- Prepare daily flight schedule update and resources allocation plan including lateral and reclaim belt allocation for the following day
- Perform safety inspection and traffic enforcement
- Conduct investigation on KPI non-performance and operation audits to baggage service contracts and BMS operations
- Prepare daily statistics and reports
- Required to work on shift duties
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any disciplines with minimum 1 year’s working experience, preferably in airport management/ airline operations.
- Form 5 / DSE level with a minimum 5 years’ working experience in baggage operations or airport-related area will also be considered.
- Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and service-oriented
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Competent PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Possess a valid HK driving license with Class 2 endorsement is preferred
