Project Quantity Surveyor - (220819)
This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
Responsibilities
The Project Quantity Surveyor who is directly accountable to the Manager, Procurement & Contracts, is responsible for executing the cost control, procurement of capital works and contract management of design, quantity surveying (QS) and other related consultancies and construction contracts in compliance with the Authority's procurement policy and project management procedures.
His/her responsibilities will include:
- Project cost management including cost engineering, vetting of cost estimates and project cost control and reporting;
- Contract administration of design, QS and other related consultancies and construction works contracts to ensure completion within budget and compliance with the contracts; and
- Close liaison with internal stakeholders and external consultants
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Professional Qualification in Quantity Surveying gained from a recognized professional institution is required
- At least 6 years' relevant experience in the procurement and contract administration of major construction projects
- Quantity Surveying experience in major E&M systems is an advantage
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese
- Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
