Cargo Services Supervisor

Highlight
Our Sydney Cargo office in Mascot has a great opportunity for an experienced Cargo Services Supervisor to provide operational support to the Sydney Cargo operations.

This permanent full-time role reports to the Regional Head of Cargo, SWP and will be responsible for the development and management of two direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop, motivate and manage a direct report
- Ensure all airport operations meet Cathay’s standards, policies and procedures, as well as satisfying local and international safety and security standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure Cargo Sales & Service Officers and other service suppliers deliver the highest level of customer service, to agreed service standards
- Effectively handle Cargo response to any Emergency and Accident or other foreseeable situations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience in Cargo operations and customer handling
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Capability to adapt and make effective decisions including disruptions
- Ability to think logically and commercially in order to present and justify ideas/findings to a wide variety of culturally diverse audiences
- Good analytical skills
- Strong computer literacy across the Microsoft Office suite.
