Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work under Group IT Team and collaborate with different Business Units to ensure all infrastructure and network are continued to operate in a stable and effective manner. The role also manages daily operation on system and network administration, backup and user support effectively. Responsibilities are also ensuring the escalation process from teams are followed up in a timely manner, evaluated change requests for any impacts and conflicts in priority. Other duties include planning, organizing, reviewing and optimizing utilization of computer resources; conducting ongoing monitoring on quality management procedures and guidelines; developing and maintaining documentations and performing knowledge transfer, following established standards, procedures and change management processes; and working with headquarter to build a culture of high performance, pro-activity, business co-operation, continuous improvement and service delivery.
Requirements
- Degree holders in IT or other relevant disciplines
- At least in 8-years relevant experience on managing and configuring enterprise-wide system platform, LANS, WANS, WLANS, VPN, with minimum 3 years on managerial experience
- Solid experience on managing the following is a plus:
Use of virtualization technologies, such as VMware vSphere on HPE SimpliVity hyper converged infrastructure
NAS and SAN storage as well as Veeam backup with deduplication appliances
Enterprise level active directory architecture
Active directory & M365 mergers and acquisitions
Network switch, firewall, Wi-Fi and VPN appliances
Data centre and DR site setup and operation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
- Immediate available is highly preferred
