Reports to: Talent Acquisition Manager (Operations)
The role is accountable for contributing to the design and execution of talent acquisition strategies for our operations employee (specifically for Pilots and Simulator Instructors) and specifically for leading assessment and selection. The role is also accountable for contributing to the execution of a signature Cathay Pacific candidate experience through all key touchpoints.

Responsibilities
- Act as a brand ambassador for the airline, promoting our employee value proposition and inspiring candidates to apply for positions and accept opportunities.
- Be the recruitment partner for the business and secure high quality candidates within agreed recruitment metrics and in a professional manner.
- Execute a professional, brand enhancing candidate experience through all recruitment cycle touch-points
- This role is responsible for the selection and recruitment of Cadet Pilots, Direct Entry Pilots, and Simulator Instructors.
- Lead the end to end recruitment processes including sourcing, qualifications screening, reviewing assessments result, interviewing, selecting, and offering.
- Execute sourcing activities, including but not limited to active resume database searches, job fairs, industry networking, advertisements, internet posting, and managing career site.
- The role allows for exposure in HR / talent acquisition projects and have a key part to play in contributing to making the hiring process and candidate experience better.
Requirements
- Degree in Human Resources / Aviation, or related discipline
- 5 years' relevant experience in HR / Flight Operations, preferably with at least 2 years in recruitment
- Aviation experience advantageous
- Knowledge of flight crew licensing and/or possession of a commercial pilot license advantageous
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Experience running competency-based and technical interviews and using other assessment and selection tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Talent Acquisition Specialist
