Reports to: Passenger Sales Accounting Manager

Passenger Revenue Accounting is essential for the performance evaluation of the Company’s business operation. The Sales Control and Credit Control Section serves as the entry point of passenger revenue accounting process to ensure passenger sales are properly accounted for and monitored, in order to provide reporting and statistical information to management in relation to sales and usage, and, support commercial decision of the Company.

Responsibilities
- Oversee reporting and accounting processes of passenger sales and refunds for various sales channels, in an efficient, correct, timely and controlled manner
- Support daily sales reporting operational issues, collaborate and communicate with other departments and outport FIN relating to ticket sales issues
- Support the commercial departments for their sales initiatives and deal with various external partners, e.g. company secretary and hospitality vendors, to ensure the - Travel Retail Platform (TRP) is running smoothly
- Prepare service fee reports for subsidiary companies and business partners on monthly basis
- Oversight on credit card chargeback from global/local acquiring banks
- Ensure all sales related control accounts assigned are reconciled in a timely manner
- Provide management with sales data and related analysis reports in order for better management decisions and other statutory purposes
- Monitor monthly closing and support in interim and annual closing for sales reporting
- Assist in UAT and production validation for new sales initiatives and provide consultation to business partners on change impact assessment
- Plan and implement on system enhancement, staff development and training to meet company's operational needs

- Perform ad hoc assignments as and when required
Requirements
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Possession of professional designation in Accountancy
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience of which 2 years' experience in supervisory role. Audit experience with recognized audit firms is advantageous
- Experience in working in the airline and/or travel industry is a definite plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally communicate in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Good command of both written and verbal English and Chinese for a variety of situations and audiences. Proficiency in Mandarin and written Chinese is advantageous
- Able to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet deadlines
- Willing to challenge the status quo and improve work processes
- Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
- Experience in using SAP is advantageous
