Responsibilities
- Manage the operations of the Authority's Marine Ecology Enhancement Fund and Fisheries Enhancement Fund, including coordination and liaison with internal departments and external consultants and all involved parties in the smooth delivery of application / funding cycles, ensuring due diligence and high governance standards;
- Oversee supporting initiatives to the funds including development of PR / media stories (e.g. site visits, coordination with CCD, etc.) and web-based content;
- To coordinate and oversee the activities of the supporting consultant to the Secretariat (AA) to ensure full compliance with established processes, effective coordination of the application and fund approval process and support for Management committee and Steering committee meetings and all related internal and external liaison;
- To fulfil key EIA / EP commitments and submission requirements in delivering the 3RS Project including environmental review reports and to manage specialist work efforts of the Environmental Permit Consultant;
- To support waste management related areas of both 3RS Project delivery and broader AA and HKIA efforts to drive improved waste reduction and recyclables separation including MSW charging implementation;
- To develop and implement internal and external environmental programmes and initiatives across aspect areas including funds, waste management and circular economy, to support growing biodiversity and ecology-focussed initiatives as well as to contribute to green supply chain and sustainable financing initiatives;

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in environmental, sustainability or related discipline. Master’s degree is preferable;
- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience with at least 5 years in a managerial position;
- Member of HKIE, CIWEM, HKIQEP or other equivalent professional bodies would be advantageous;
- Solid experience of implementing environmental programmes in a large organisation;
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated skill-set for internal and external stakeholder engagement, including with government, NGOs, other interest groups and the general public;
- Should demonstrate sound knowledge of current sustainability issues and broad knowledge of the sustainability challenges faced by the aviation industry;
- Strong leadership, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent command of both spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
- Excellent planning, project management and communication skills;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, project management software
