IOC Planning Analyst

Reports to : Head of Integrated Operation Centre Transformation Programme
Purpose : This role is key to the pre-ops “tactical planning” function of the IOC operations and will play a critical role in enabling IOC to proactively anticipate and mitigate potential disruptions and gain insights from daily operations. This role will support the regular pre-ops review and post-ops analysis, conduct operations data analysis and facilitate other adhoc analytical tasks. It will also work closely with the IOCT project team to facilitate implementation of a Tactical Planning function for the IOC, including new pre-ops processes and the associated change management activities.

Responsibilities
- Support the daily pre-ops review by identifying, analysing disruption risks within the IOC operations window and helping working out the optimal risk response.
- Work closely with other teams (IOC Ops Controllers, Maintenance Control Planning, Airline Planning) to coordinate daily Ops meeting and to continuously try anticipating disruptions / optimizing airline schedule a few days before day of operations
- Facilitate post-ops analysis, conduct interviews or review sessions with various stakeholders and procedure case studies or reports as required.
- Work with IOC Transformation project team in defining reporting requirements and design reports to support the pre-ops function.
- Work with the IOC Transformation project team and Data Science / Analytics teams to build / leverage data analytics, operations insights and/or AI-based risk prediction models to improve short term planning of Airline schedule
- Gather, maintain and review all relevant data around disruptions. Identify patterns and trends in data sets and report the results / suggested improvements back to the relevant members of the business.

- Support IOC Transformation project team in implementation of new pre-ops tactical planning process and the associated change management activities such as briefing and training sessions.
Requirements
Knowledge
- A degree in STEM disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
- Proven working experience as a data analyst or other roles requiring extensive data analysis.
- Previous experience in Airlines operations or other Airline functions would be ideal
- Experience in transformation projects and Business Process Reengineering would be ideal
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and conduct briefing, interview sessions as required.
- Ability to produce comprehensive reports and case studies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience
- Experience in CX operations function will be highly desirable.
