The job holder will drive the best value for airports cost base that ensures the best customer experience and that the Cathay Pacific (CX) team is resourced appropriately to drive operational excellence through our Ground Handling Agent (GHA).

Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses for scenario planning
- Tailor SLA based on port's needs in conjunction with Airport Operations Managers (AOMs), Regional Performance and Support Manager, Procurement, and Head of Airport Operations
- Evaluate ECC submission with outports and Performance and Support team
- Coordinate the overall planning of new port setup and terminal move or GHA changes
- Support the GASPVM in conducting various analysis on cost modelling scenarios
- Customize and review the Contract service scope, terms and conditions to cope with particular port’s requirement
- Coordinate with outports and other stakeholders, to participate supplier negotiation
- Review the corporate standard to adopt the regulatory and industrial requirement
- Monitor supplier performance and study any performance issues or MOR case
- Establish improvement or mitigation plan to address supplier performance issue
- Supplier management by analysing performance report and conduct regular supplier meeting for performance review
- Coordinate and perform pre-assessment and risk assessment
- SAP set up review and approval
- Initiate continuous improvement opportunities and assist in developing saving initiatives of worldwide airports and hub operations
- Perform service level and standard planning for outports
- Perform budget planning and forecasting for outports
- Consolidate all budget submissions from outports and review for sumbission
- Explore opportunities to achieve any costs efficiency and productivity
- Monitor costs of worldwide airports
- Maintain good working relationship with Procurement and Finance departments
Requirements
- University graduate or specialised training or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years in a position to acquire both in-depth and broad levels of managerial or supervisory skills
- Good experience in airport operations and /or ground handling contracts service level and requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Good understanding of finance and accounting knowledge is an advantage
- Sensitive to numerical computation
- Computer literacy e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database management
- Strong Analytical skills
- Strong numerical skills and project management skills
- Good problem solving and analytical skills
- Clear expression and presentation in communication
- Capable of negotiation, influencing and making timely decision
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong scenario basis modelling skills
- Drive value in modelling; abilities to build cost modelling for scenario basis analysis
- Good at budget or supplier management (conceptual) - GHA/Self
- Strong understanding of airport operations and requirements
- Good understanding of both outports and hub airport operations to drive best value of the spending
