Head of Global Sales

Cathay Pacific (CX) is looking for a seasoned global commercial trail blazer for an exciting and dynamic key leadership role at its headquarters in Hong Kong.
As the Head of Global Sales, you will be instrumental in driving the overall B2B sales strategy for CX. The role is responsible for evaluating the customer segments to ensure that we have the relevant and consistent approach and structure. You are also responsible for delivering the Global Corporate, Global Trade and Global Specialty sales targets as well as the Corporate Sales targets for Hong Kong (HKG). Moreover you will lead the team in driving inbound sales from the network into the fast growing Greater Bay Area (GBA). You will design and drive our Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) and Global Sales Agent (GSA) strategies.
Working in an innovative team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the right and most state of the art Sales Enablement tools and processes are in place in order to support the global commercial teams.
This is a critical leadership role to ensure that our sales channels are fit for purpose in driving both B2B and B2C customer preference, whilst reducing the overall cost of sale and improving overall revenue contribution. This role may require extensive travel throughout our network.

Responsibilities
- Lead, innovate and deliver a comprehensive sales structure for Cathay, including sales strategy, network sales policies, market segmentation, channel mix, gross margin of agency sales
- Responsible for delivering the corporate and Travel Management Company (TMC) passenger revenue in HKG through effective client management and acquisition
- Focus on maximising CX’s share of business in Global segments – corporate, TMC, GBA inbound, Speciality and Leisure
- Focus on maximising CX’s share of business in the SME market through the SME Corporate platform called Business Plus Platform
- Ensure the right sales enablement tools and reporting mechanisms are in place to help the network drive the segments
- Monitor GSA performance
- Key KPIs include: HKG Corporate sales revenue; Global Corporate, Global Trade and Specialty Partnerships, GBA inbound, sales revenue; SME sales revenue generated through Business Plus

- In-depth understanding in airline sales segments
- Expertise and connections in the Corporate and Trade Markets
- Spokesperson and relationship builder for Cathay
