Purpose and Scope of the Job
The ED&I Partner will support and develop programs that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace, aiming to embed a ED&I lens into all aspects of our work from recruitment to communication to campaigning and throughout the organization. They will demonstrate considerable independence for project implementation along with a strong sense of purpose for initiating plans to bring about positive change.



The Partner will focus on GPEA’s one or more offices, as designated by the Line Manager. In Level 3 & 4, the Partner may be asked to lead or co-lead ED&I initiatives regionally. The Partner will work under the general direction of the ED&I and Integrity Specialist. The Partner will work closely with ED&I Ambassadors in the designated office and support ED&I Ambassadors of other GPEA offices.
Responsibilities
Implementation
- Develop and implement ED&I projects in line with the 3 Year Strategic Plan and the global Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with the HR team and ED&I Ambassadors on developing and implementing the positive office culture project.
- Liaise and build relationships with staff based in the designated office and other offices to support the incorporation of a ED&I lens into various working levels.
- Liaise and build relationships with Staff Development and HR teams in GPEA offices to create synergy for ED&I projects.
- Liaise and build relationships with worldwide ED&I community to stay on top of trends, gain global knowledge and share GPEA’s ED&I experience with the community.

Support/ Coaching/ Leadership
- Work closely with ED&I Ambassadors to support ongoing projects.
- Develop a high level of awareness on ED&I issues to lead by example.
- Develop best practices in building an inclusive workplace.
- Provide knowledge-based guidance and counsel to colleagues on issues related to ED&I.
- Source and liaise with external parties to introduce their specific expertise into the office.
- Perform ad hoc projects when required.

Compliance/ Keeping Framework Conditions
- Track project progress and evaluate outcomes to provide follow up recommendations.
- Track project budget and any contracts with external vendors.
