Manager (Therapeutics), Institute of Translation Research [HKSTP/MTITR/220524]
Responsibilities
- Handle admission process, account management and engagement of therapeutic companies within Hong Kong Science Park
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of the short-term and long-term strategy of Institute of Translational Research (ITR) and solicit support from internal and external stakeholders to support/facilitate building up of strong and sizable biomedical technology ecosystem in Science Park with high external visibility
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all stakeholders of ITR, including but not limited to industry, academia, public organizations, and researchers
- Promote and manage support programs for partner companies
- Conduct due diligence analysis and coordinate resources to achieve corporate objectives in ITR as well as across different HKSTP functions.
- Interact with customers to understand their business / technical requirements and develop effective solutions
- Provide overall administrative and secretariat support
- Manage and conduct technical writing such as Standard Operating Procedures, protocols, flow charts, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other ITR teams and HKSTP organizational units.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors and management
Requirements
- Master degree in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Biology, related clinical science or medicine disciplines
- A PhD degree in related field with industry experience would be an advantage. Candidate with higher qualification g. PhD but less experience will also be considered
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in therapeutic R&D, manufacturing, or QC/QA experience
- Experience in preclinical development, clinical trial, marketing approval or post-marketing surveillance of small molecules, biologics, regenerative medicine or gene therapy would be a plus
- Good analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- Self-driven and work effectively in a highly collaborative environment
- Proficient in MS office (Words, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
