Role Introduction
Reports to:Head of Treasury
Assist Treasury Manager in the implementation and execution of financing transactions and management of financing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist Head of Treasury in the implementation and execution of financing transactions and management of financing processes. Specifically Assistant Treasury Manager will assist the Head of Treasury in mandate / term sheet preparation and documentation review, providing comments and working independently with external legal counsels and financiers
- Work independently with other departments, financiers, external legal counsels and other external parties in the execution, drawdown, creation of transactions in SAP, maintenance and closing out of transactions at maturity
- Carry out financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to analyze financing solutions and where necessary to simulate possible outcome to assess the costs and benefits
- Ensure financing transactions are properly filed, recorded and legally compliant
- The role would also include the development and documentation of standard processes as well as potentially developing management information over time
- Provide administration support to satisfy external requirements of banks and counsels and for internal system and internal housekeeping requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or Accounting
- At least 2 or 3 years of relevant experience in legal documentation relating to financing transactions
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in negotiation
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
- Good analytical and teamwork capability
- Able to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet deadlines
- Pro-active, good interpersonal and communication skills
