Role Introduction
Reports to: Digital Experience Manager – Self Service
Reports to: Group Quality Assurance Manager - Ground
- Responsible for supporting, administering, implementing and maintaining an effective quality assurance program across the ground operations departments of Cathay Pacific Airways and with relevant suppliers of operational services.
- Support the Ground Quality Team to ensure the audit programs are maintained and monitored for effective delivery.
Responsibilities
Support the delivery of an effective, efficient risk-based quality assurance program for Cathay Pacific by:
- Preparing the annual Consolidated Port Audit Program Schedule, maintaining and updating the audit program checklists, information package and audit report template
- Consolidating and producing a master internal/supplier audit plan and reviewing it with GQMs regularly to maintain robust records of any changes and cancellations
- Assisting the GQAMG in preparation of the ISARP matrix, yearly schedule, checklist creation etc
- Assisting the GQAMG with the biennial IATA Operational Safety Audit. This includes the ownership and assessment of operational activities against relevant ISARPs, briefings of ground operations teams, production of the conformance report for CGO & GRH disciplines
- Assisting with logistical support for the IOSA and annual external audit of GSORM
- Monitoring all audit program schedules, status, sending a survey to auditees after audit completion, report preparation and sign off process, including report follow-up with GQM and HGQ
- Maintaining the dashboard of the audit programs
- Managing the new joiner learning path, inclusive of preparing and delivering the Provisional Auditor briefing kit, onsite familiarization and recurrent training package for all applicable audit programs, and ensuring the completeness of the training records of all certified auditors
- Performing duties of a Lead Auditor and/or Auditor in all applicable audit programs
- Assisting the GQAMG with Continuous Monitoring Inspection Checklist management, i-Auditor system management and oversight of contracted supplier and (Safety Culture)
- Assisting HGQ to prepare the annual Air Safety Review Committee and Management Review presentations
- Providing valuable input to different safety groups i.e. JSWG, RSWG and LCGW.
- Assisting with internal quality educational/training programs to promote quality systems awareness throughout the company
- Preparing, updating and managing the Quality Briefings and Quality Deliverables reporting to all relevant senior management
- Assisting HGQ in coordination and record keeping of the Quality Meeting, agenda preparation, annual kick-off meeting, and special purpose meetings, coordination of presenters and contributors and meeting record keeping
- Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of all Air Operator Certificate documentation and communication with HKCAD
- Maintaining, and ensuring the regular review by senior management of the Operations and Management Services Agreements and associated appendices between CPA, AHK and HKE
- Maintaining the GSORM Quality Internal SharePoint site and ensuring site managers update and maintain content for ‘The Hub’ (intranet) page of GSORM Quality
 Audit Database
- Maintain, support, and update the audit database to ensure that it is accurate at all times
- Consolidate and analyse audit database user feedback to provide to the database supplier (Rolls-Royce)
- Assist to conduct User Acceptance Test for upgrades to the audit database
 General Tasks
- Assist the GQMG and GQAMG to manage the ground quality team.
- Represent the Company and/or Department at relevant meetings in a professional and loyal manner
- Assist in the response to a crisis involving Cathay Pacific as a member of the Care Team
- Develop and maintain an effective relationship with the Group Quality team, extended team members, and ground operations departments, including participation in departmental management meetings
- Provide input to HGQ in relation to budgeting for Consolidated Port Audits and related matters
- Deputize for the GQAMG as required
- Extensive duty travel required
Requirements
 Education qualifications
- HKDSE: Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in 5 NSS subjects including English, or HKCEE: Minimum Grade E in 5 HKCEE subjects (Including level 2 or above in English Language)
- Tertiary education or equivalent
 Professional qualifications
- Lead Auditor qualifications
- Dangerous Goods Awareness
 Experiences
- 3-5 years operational experience in the airline industry, preferably in either Engineering, Flight Operations, Inflight Services, Ground Operations, or Cargo Operations
- 1-3 years in a management or supervisory role
- Adequate and appropriate auditing or quality systems experience
 Job related knowledge
- Understanding of airline ground, cargo and flight operations
