As a key member of HKSTP’s Partnerships team, you will be inspiring, conferring and supporting corporate partners on both their short-term and long-term innovation journey. You are responsible for corporate partnership development from various industry verticals. You have a keen sense of business value determination at the corporate level, where you can lead planning and execution of the long-term strategy and roadmap for Construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for Construction industry to acquire in-depth knowledge of business operation and practices, industry dynamics, market trend, innovation needs and translate them into business opportunities;
- Build and maintain a professional network of decision makers from leading corporates, government agencies, industry regulators and associations to drive corporate innovation, technology adoption, POC/co-creation projects, implementation projects, and large-scale adoption;
- Facilitate technology adoption by bringing corporates (buy side) and tech ventures (sell side) together through a range of different events and activities including demo days, industry-based acceleration programmes, business matching, channel sales, etc.;
- Discover and collect business problem statements from corporates and technology adopters to create a comprehensive database of business opportunities to attract top innovative solution providers;
- Formulate strategic plans for corporate major accounts development and prioritise resources to maximize business engagement outcome measured by monetary transaction of successful solution adoption; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements
- A bachelor degree in Business, Engineering, Communication or related disciplines;
- Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in corporate major account management or business development, preferably in innovation and technology sectors;
- Solid experience in working with property developers, consultants, contractors or statutory bodies will be advantage;
- Proven track record of project/ product management;
- Ability to develop partnership strategies and effective communication with senior executives;
- A good team player with excellent interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills to work with different teams within the organization;
- Attention to details, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, organized and able to multi-task and work under pressure with tight schedule; and
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Candidate with less experience will be considered for lower position as Manager.
