We ideate, create and produce customer and employee-facing content, namely photography, video, graphic design, art direction and copy; across disciplines of branding, customer experience, marketing, digital and product design.
We are looking for a highly strategic creative leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of creatives; guiding and inspiring them to create exciting and engaging content across multiple forms to support the business.
-Produce engaging videos that capture our brand, customer experience, destinations, retail experience, aircraft, and people. Productions range from high-end corporate films, to motion graphics and creative clips for social media.
-Edit effective, quick-turnaround content in non-linear digital editing systems for multiple channel outputs, including digital, social media, branding and YouTube.
-Collaborate with art directors and videographers from pre to post; but also self-shoot, direct and deliver from end to end when required.
-Help manage oversee and organize the video production processes.
-Help create, maintain and organise calendars, schedules and equipment for post-production.
-Archive, organise and template video projects to streamline production.
-Ensure that work consistently adheres to our brand and video guidelines.
-Responsible for making sure our content resonates with target audiences and markets.
-Offer continuous insight into industry best practices, digital trends, and content generation ideas.
-Creative, tech savvy self-starter with 3+ years of editing experience in video production / multimedia design.
-Bachelor’s degree in Art, Film, Communications, Broadcast or similar field.
-Masterful in post-production, including editing footage, motion graphics, dialogue, colour grading and sound sweetening.
-Experience in photography, photo retouching, motion graphics, sound sweetening and colour correction a bonus.
-Experience shooting on DSLRs and other HD cameras / equipment.
-Ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) and Final Cut Pro X
-Keen eye and passion for video and photography. Naturally aligned to Cathay’s style.
-Strong storyteller, capable of turning complicated concepts into simple, elegant narratives.
-Solid understanding of digital and social media video consumption trends.
-Organised and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
-Willingness to travel to different destinations and offices around the world.
-An absolute lover of travel and all that it represents.
