Engineering’s ambition is to be one of the world’s highest performing, customer centric and progressive engineering teams and the role of the Senior Fleet Management Engineer is to support the compilation of acquisition, lease and sale contracts, to ensure they are cost-effective, deliverable and manageable by Engineering throughout the life of the aircraft. They are also responsible for maintaining leased aircraft in compliance with contractual requirements through aircraft audits and reports. Other responsibilities also include supporting other key stakeholders with activities such as drafting of RFP’s and coordinating aircraft consignment plans.
Responsibilities
-Coordinate all Engineering commercial related tasks associated with the acquisition through lease or purchase of new or used aircraft.
-Coordinate all Engineering commercial related tasks associated with the aircraft lease returns, sales and disposals from the
Support APD / PLN / CGO for business case analysis to support the fleet plans.
-Ensure aircraft within the fleet on operational and finance leases are effectively managed in accordance with their respective leases, including audits, reports etc.
-Develop, maintain and support fleet engine sales and asset management plan.
-Manage the Commitment Letter process for new aircraft.
-Support technical issues related to finance lease contracts.
Requirements
-Typically 6 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance and/or engineering.
-Degree in Engineering / Aerospace Discipline.
-Relevant experience of understanding and contributing to aircraft contracts.
-Proven experience of achieving key milestones in projects and working with cross functional teams.
-Proven ability in stakeholder management and working with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Maintenance Reapir Organizations (MROs) and leasing companies.
-Strong in commercial and budget management experience is preferred.
-Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
-Drive for excellence.
-Adaptable and responsive to change with demonstrated ability to drive process improvements across the department.
