Project Engineer (ABWF) - (210601)
This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.
The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Senior Project Engineer in civil and building works. This involves ensuring that the works are designed, specified and built to achieve the required level of service; to specified standards of materials and workmanship; and that they are completed safely, on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the Authority.

The incumbent is responsible for providing support to the Senior Project Engineer in civil and building works. This involves ensuring that the works are designed, specified and built to achieve the required level of service; to specified standards of materials and workmanship; and that they are completed safely, on time and within budget to the satisfaction of the Authority.
Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining the site records for safety, quality and resources
- Monitoring the contractors’ safety performance to meet the safety standard requirements, cultivating the safe culture and uplifting the safety standard of the Authority
- Providing technical assistance in the design and site supervision of the Civil and Building works;
- Providing technical assistance in the design reviews of ABWF / Fitting out works; monitoring the works progress and proactively anticipating in resolving interface and construction problems and liaising with stakeholders to implement comprehensive solutions;
- Monitoring statutory submission of the consultants’ and contractor’s design works; and Managing the contractor’s works complying with all statutory requirements;
- Providing technical support to site supervision teams including responding to request for information and preparing design change documents; and
- Collaboratively working with the Contractors to ensure the works are completed on time and within budget to a high level of quality.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related disciplines with at least 6 years’ relevant experience, of which minimum of 3 years should be in project management
- Member of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies
- Experience in the management of civil/structural design, planning, statutory submission to Buildings Department and relevant authorities, construction and site supervisory works
- Experience in the design and site supervision of airport related project works is preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications and project management software tools
- Knowledge of CADD software such as Microstation or AutoCAD is an advantage
- Knowledge of BIM software is preferred
