As Cathay’s internal creative agency, we are the team behind differentiating content that bring this ethos to life. We ideate, create and produce customer and employee-facing content, namely photography, video, graphic design, art direction and copy, across disciplines of branding, customer experience, marketing, digital and product design.
We are looking for a talented Media Production Manager with a passion in storytelling to produce compelling cinematography and stories for Cathay. You will be partnering with our content marketing and creative team to creative development down to planning, executing and even producing on set.
Responsibilities
-Manage and lead the production of various creative projects, including video, audio, photography and copywriting.
-Coordinate and manage shoots, including assistant directing on set, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring timelines are met.
-Collaborate closely with the creative and content marketing teams to understand, assess, define and lead the execution of creative requirements to ensure the brand is represented consistently across all mediums
-Foster relationships and manage a talented roster of production partners, copywriters, designers, and cinematographers.
-Lead talent casting for both external and internal talents.
-Oversees the schedules of our in-house creative talent, optimizing project allocation and workload to maximize efficiency.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and retail teams, to understand their content needs and objectives.
-Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
-Stay up to date with industry best practices, digital trends, and generate ideas for content generation.
-Manage and explore new ways to improve how we share our content on our digital asset management system,
-Ensure that the content produced is within budget, resonates with the audience, and contributes to building the Cathay brand image.
-Manage copyrights and licences for our all assets such as but not limited to talent, music, images, and videos.
Requirements
-Experience as a Production Manager or Senior Producer for a creative agency or an in-house marketing team.
-Minimum 8+ year experience managing and maintaining complex production budgets, schedules, systems, record-keeping and complex location production shoots.
-Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese. Mandarin a plus
-Ability to ideate, create, and produce content that aligns with Cathay's brand vision.
-Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and think outside the box.
-Proficiency in content creation tools, content management systems (CMS), Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools, and social media management platforms.
-Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of content produced across different platforms (written, visual, and multimedia).
-An absolute lover of travel and all that it represents.
-A firm grasp of production processes from inception to delivery, film production best practices, broadcast camera and editing equipment such as audio and video recording techniques and systems, including but not limited to lighting, video/DSLR camera operation and non-linear editing.
