Highlight
To support the Marketing Manager to execute all brand, marketing and Public Relations activities across the region in order to build the GBA as the extended home market for the airline group.
Responsibilities
Revenue Generation and Campaigns
-Support the full remit of the marketing team’s work as guided by the Marketing Manager, including but not limited to Marketing and Public Relations campaign execution, media engagement, sales and trade event organisation, and translation
-Work closely with the GBA Business Development team and related sales teams to promote the awareness of Cathay intermodal offerings to grow sales
-Work with agency partners to effectively adapt global marketing materials to maximise regional market relevance and impact
-Review proposed local language and against local culture to flag cultural sensitivities when global and regional campaigns are applied locally
-Prepare local marketing collateral, e-collateral to suit local campaign and promotional needs
-Ensure local collateral stock levels are maintained appropriately
-Build and maintain effective working relationship with agencies and other partners
-Achieve all brand Key Performance Indicators for the region
-Support marketing activities to recruit Marco Polo, Asia Miles and Registered Users members and gather consumer dataUndertake initiatives to increase the engagement with Marco Polo members as required
-Actively promote new product and/or ancillary features to generate additional revenue
-Any other reasonable task as requested

-Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required


Requirements
Academic Qualifications
-A university degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related discipline


Knowledge, Skills, Training and Experience
-A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
-Working experience in airline, travel, or hospitality industry is an advantage
-A good understanding of the Greater Bay Area (especially Shenzhen) market and consumer behaviour
-Has good insights of the nature and usage of different media channels for effective communications
-Excellent Chinese and English writing skills, proficiency in Cantonese is an advantage
-Demonstrable analytical skills with experience in assembling and interpreting data, creating executive summaries and delivering business insights
-High degree of internet savvy, with a curiosity and enthusiasm for digital and media trends
-Good project management skills including the ability to identify, analyse and propose solutions to various business or execution issues
-Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, ensuring speed to market whilst maintaining quality of work
-Capable of working outside of office hours in response to urgent Corporate Affairs matters as required
-Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously
-Discreet individual, who can be trusted with confidential material
