This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 3 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities
- Work on debt capital market transactions for the Authority
- Provide legal advice on a variety of issues relating to Treasury functions for the Authority
- Draft, negotiate and review a broad-range of commercial agreements
- Develop policies, standards and strategies to manage and mitigate legal risks
- Provide practical legal advice and solutions to user departments on various legal issues which arise from time to time

Requirements
- Degree or postgraduate certificate holder in Law or equivalent, either in Hong Kong or from a common law jurisdiction
- A qualified solicitor with minimum of 10 year’s post qualification experience
- Possess solid debt capital market and general commercial experience
- Sound knowledge in contract negotiation and drafting skills in both Chinese and English
- Experienced in providing practical and sophisticated legal advice
- Independent with strong problem solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Good business acumen and risk awareness with exposure to different industry sectors
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
- A qualified solicitor with minimum of 10 year’s post qualification experience
