Responsibilities
-Produce economic evaluation for fleet selection, including but not limited to conducting modelling, performing profitability analysis and preparing board papers, with a view of the long-term investment decision to optimize financial return
-Evaluate different fleet options (size, type, mix) and make timely recommendations to Management steering group
-Draft board papers and formulate business cases
-Lead cross departmental teams to execute fleet related projects on time, within budget and in accordance to the business case
-Evaluate the commercial performance of the fleet, identify opportunities to optimise profitability and lead change where commercially justifiable
-Based on the endorsed fleet plan, define the requirement for new aircraft, including but not limited to induction plan, LOPAs, payload capacity, options for acquisition and cost modelling
-Participate in commercial negotiations
-Support General Manager Planning on fleet related projects
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree
-Minimum 8 years’ experience in airline management or a similar role
-Demonstrated strong business vision and commercial acumen
-Thorough understanding of financial modelling and high proficiency with data and numbers
-Experienced with preparing and presenting business cases
-Excellent interpersonal, influencing and project management skills
-Track record of leading new initiatives and processes for continuous improvement
-Trusted to appropriately handle commercially sensitive and confidential information
