Highlight
The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the GBS Service Delivery Team in all aspects of project delivery, analytics, process improvements, performs reporting and coordination and oversight of all administration tasks. Role will also support current BAU GBS Teams with ad-hoc analysis where required and the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Process Maps.
Responsibilities
-Apply appropriate tools and methodologies to support a high performance GBS Service Delivery Team.
-Mapping business processes and analysing processes and data to identify improvement opportunities.
-Work with business partners to baseline activities to determine effort and resource requirements.
-Work with business partners and the team to assess new services to be on boarded into GBS.
-Collect and prepare all relevant details for the prospective transitions including FTE requirement, SOP and KPI/Metrics.
-Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements.
-Analysing commercial data such as budgets, sales results and forecasts.
Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts.
-Simplifying information and deciphering technical jargon so it is easily understood by the whole team.
-Implementing and testing of solutions.
-Assist with both project due diligence and status reporting
-Support in the management of reporting on issues, actions risk and dependencies.
-Assist in the scheduling, preparation, minutes taking and communications of meetings.
Requirements
-Minimum 1 to 3 years of proven track record of delivering high quality services to internal stakeholders.
-Good communications skills and ability to engage and proactively follow up items with a range of project stakeholders.
-Service Delivery and/or Shared Services experience is a plus.
-Problem solver, quick learner, self-driven.
-Willing to learn, progressive and a can-do mind-set is a must.
-Able to pick up important meeting minutes and present them in a meaningful and professional way.
-Good business English skills.
-Process mapping and/or baselining skills is a plus.
-Ability to multi task in delivery focused environment.
-Average MS office capability. Good excel skills is a must.
-Good analytical skills.
-Degree qualification in business or similar fields.
Six Sigma Lean or PMP trained/certified is a plus.
