Reports To: Head of Employee Relations and Communications, FOP
The job holder is accountable for working with the Head of Employee Relations and Communications, FOP, to develop and execute engagement strategies, plans and events for Cathay Pacific Pilots – through a wide range of channels to improve the employee experience and drive engagement across our pilots – in order to influence customer satisfaction and achievement of our business goals.

Responsibilities
- Work with the Strategic Engagement & ER Manager, FOP and the Communications Manager to develop and execute an engagement strategy for Flight Crew
- Plan, execute and manage annual and ad-hoc employee engagement programmes and activities
- Manage employee engagement and recognition programmes, including our existing “Work Well Done” recognition programme
- Create, plan and manage high profile company events for Flight Crew
- Manage programme of activities and social events
- Evaluate events and initiatives against clear objectives and metrics, reporting on outcomes
- Manage external vendor relationships
Requirements
- Degree in Communications or related discipline
- Experience developing and executing employee engagement and change management strategies, and reporting against progress
- 8+ years in internal employee engagement roles, preferably in complex organisations with geographically dispersed employees
- Experience managing large, high profile company events
- Strong knowledge of the internal communications industry landscape, trends tools, techniques that drive improved engagement
- Strong negotiating and influencing skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (Chinese advantageous)
- Ability to build professional working relationships at all levels balancing needs of all stakeholders
- Proven budget management experience
- Strong project planning skills
- Advance influencing skills
