Assistant Manager Cargo Scheduling

Highlight

The job holder is responsible for supporting the Cargo Capacity and Scheduling Manager in devising a seasonal schedule which optimises our freighters. He/she will also conduct analysis to improve route profitability and support other ongoing cargo projects.
Responsibilities
-Formulate the freighter seasonal schedule to cater for commercial needs, slot optimisation, freighter fleet deployment and operational requirements
-Act as Cathay Pacific Cargo representative for freighter slots at International Air Transport Association (IATA) seasonal slot conference.
-Manage and monitor the freighter slots and Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) night quota.
-Handle ongoing seasonal freighter changes.
-Analyse and evaluate data to track the operability of the schedule, and identify problematic areas to suggest actions for improvement.
-Analyse and evaluate freighter revenue and route cost performance data, and identify trends or areas that need attention.
-Represent Cargo Network and Scheduling team for cargo data related systems to ensure needs are met.
-Handle freighter monthly AE schedule when required.
Requirements
-Holder of a bachelor’s degree.
-A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an airline or in a similar role.
-Good analysis, problem solving and commercial acumen.
-Proficient with data and numbers.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Demonstrate continuous improvement.
-Is prepared to take ownership and accountability of issues.
