This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the design consultant on holistic capacity review and design of infrastructural provisions for future developments at the Hong Kong Port and East Coast Support Area
- Assist in coordinating with various government departments on the demarcation of future maintenance responsibility for different utility systems
- Identify design and construction issues and liaise with relevant parties to provide effective solution
- Assist in preparing design, cost estimate, specifications and relevant tender document for new improvement and maintenance works
- Review and comment on design deliverables, contractors’ submissions etc.
- Control expenditures and progress of works within the approved budget and project timeframe
- Conduct general site administration including site safety, quality and environmental monitoring
- Perform shift duties including overnight shift as needed

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines with at least 3 years' relevant working experience
- Solid experience in civil engineering works under a live operating environment is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
- Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
- Solid experience in civil engineering works under a live operating environment is an advantage
- Strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills
- Possess a valid HK driving license (class 1, 2) is preferred
