Responsibilities
Reporting to Head of Incubation and Acceleration Programmes, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy, systems, and processes to empower startups under HKSTP Ideation, Incubation, Acceleration and Elite Programs to run smoothly and successfully. Duties include:
• Oversee the overall operation in support of startup ventures (entrepreneurs/incubates/accelerates) to help them grow according to the agreed milestones
• Liaise internally with Account Managers of the Ideation, Incubation, Acceleration and Elite programs to align the target innovation type of each startup
• Establish an effective working relationship with Account Managers and other stakeholders to regularly organize trainings, workshops, events, etc.,
• Work closely with different teams to manage the operating budget for budgetary control, management reviews, and reporting to ensure operations are within the established parameters and in compliance with expectations
• Review operational workflows and procedures in compliance with internal policies and relevant rules and regulations
• Monitor the performance including outcomes and impact, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related disciplines or equivalent; MBA holder specializing in Entrepreneurship, Finance or Marketing would be an advantage
• 10 years work experience, preferably in startups and technology innovations sector
• Knowledge of the best practices of business incubation/business accelerators and development principles
• Skill in strategy development and coaching, preferably with management consulting background
• Prior experience in administering programs and grants from the Government sources is a plus
• Excellent leadership and proven ability to work with all level of stakeholders including senior executives
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Candidate with less experience but higher qualifications will also be considered
