Partnering with business units to provide general accounting services, financial analysis
and support in the budget/forecast exercises, and to assist with assessing and monitoring financial performance of projects

        Responsibilities
        
      
         
          
         
      
          Month End Closing
-	Ensure proper recording of financial information (e.g. per agreement with third
party) and compliance with company policies and accounting treatment in SAP
system
-	Monitor financials against forecasts and approved budgets
-	Coordinate and analyse inputs from BUs
-	Work with BUs and other stakeholders for any accounting adjustments if needed
-	Identify and flag potential issues and findings when necessary
Monthly Reports
-	Analyse monthly operating results and perform variance analysis on income,
costs and key performance indicators for management review
-	Prepare monthly reports (e.g. MRP and Balance Sheet Review Pack)
Day to Day Financial related matters, including but not limit to
-	Ensure accurate record of AP/AR
-	Provide financial advice and support to BUs in relation to cost monitoring and
internal cost control
-	Provide guidance and assistance on SAP issues when necessary
-	Prepare ad hoc assignments as requested (e.g. create new cost center / GL account in SAP, generate asset lists from SAP, etc.)
-	Attend meetings to discuss financial issues with relevant stakeholders when required
Budget/Forecasts
-	Assist in preparing forecast and budget submission, and provide support to BUs
in the preparation of forecast and budget exercise
-	Coordinate, consolidate and submit annual budget & corporate forecast for
management review
-	Review and validate project financials provided by ETPM
-	Meet with BUs to review forecast and budget numbers
-	To assist in the budget uploading process in SAP BPC
-	Work with BUs for pre-budget meetings, including calculating KPIs, preparation
of presentation deck, financial summary, etc
-	To assist with any other ad hoc budget analysis
Annual/Interim
•	Prepare relevant schedules in accordance with Hong Kong Accounting
Standards and other statutory requirements (e.g. prepayment schedule,
HKFRS16 disclosure, related party transactions, etc.)
Projects
-	Assist with assessing and monitoring financial performance of projects, such as
to provide constructive reviews of financial implications

        Requirements
        
      
         
      
          Accountant
-	A degree holder in Accounting with professional designation in Accountancy
preferred
-	Recognised CPA / Accountancy qualification is preferred
-	Minimum 5 years' relevant experience of which 2 years' experience in
supervisory role. Audit experience with recognised audit firms a definite plus
-	Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills
-	Strong skills in MS Office applications, especially in Excel
-	Experience in using SAP advantageous
-	Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese/Chinese
-	Able to work under pressure and being flexible when necessary to meet
deadlines
-	Willing to challenge the status quo and improve work processes
